Adidas, a German athletic apparel and footwear corporation, has collaborated with BCCI to unveil the new Indian Cricket team jersey for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. This new jersey of the Indian cricket team pays homage to the Indian flag by featuring vibrant orange, white and green stripes. Cricket fans and enthusiasts across the country have praised this new design for its style and patriotism.
This new jersey of the Indian Cricket team includes logos of different sponsors. Earlier, Dream11 was one of the sponsors for the Indian Cricket team, which will not be printed on this new jersey. The first match where the Indian cricket players will wear this new jersey will be played on 8th October against Australia at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Indian New Jersey 2023 World Cup
The much-anticipated design of the new Indian Cricket jersey has been released by Adidas with an official video on their social media platforms. With the #ImpossibleIsNothing on their Instagram handle, Adidas India mentioned the previous cricket world cups of 1983 and 2011. The 183 WC was titled ‘The Spark’ and the 2011 WC was called ‘The Glory.
Adidas gave a title to this new jersey as, ‘Impossible nhi ye sapna, 3 ka dream hai apna’ (It’s not impossible, this dream will be ours). The official video where this new jersey was seen for the first time featured various Indian Cricket team superstars, such as the Captain and Vice Captain Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya along with the most cherished and the chase master Virat Kohli.
