Write a Letter to Your Friend Describing Environment Day Celebration in Your School: Sample 1
| WZ 354, Block 3D, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi 10 December 2025 Dear Kajal, I am writing to you today to tell you all about the Environment Day celebration in my school (DPS RK Puram) on 5 June 2023. I know it has been more than 6 months, but I could not stop myself from sharing the details with you as it was a fun and informative day that changed my perspective on our planet. The day started with a vibrant assembly in the main hall. Our teachers and seniors decorated the stage beautifully with recycled materials. Everyone wore green to show their support for the environment. We had a guest speaker, Sumaira Abdulali, a renowned environmental activist, who spoke passionately about the challenges we face and the small actions we can take to make a difference. Her thought-provoking words enlightened us all. After the assembly, there were various activity stations set up around the schoolyard. One station focused on waste management, teaching everyone how to properly segregate and dispose of different types of waste. There was even a fun “Upcycled Fashion Show” where students showcased outfits made entirely from recycled materials. I was truly amazed by the creativity of my schoolmates. But the highlight of the day was the tree-planting ceremony. We all came together to plant new saplings on the school grounds to symbolize our support for a sustainable future. It was a heartwarming experience. Moreover, it felt amazing to contribute to creating a more sustainable environment for ourselves and future generations. Also, the entire day was a fantastic learning experience that left a lasting impression on everyone. It encouraged us to think critically about our environmental impact and inspired us to take action in our daily lives. I wish you could have been there to experience it with me! Write back soon with your new experiences. Love, Rakul |

| WZ 354, Block 3D, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi 10 December 2025 Dearest Monika, I hope you are keeping well. It has been long since we wrote to each other. I was eagerly waiting to write to you about the Environment Day celebration at my school, Mansarovar School. Our day started with a special assembly where the principal pumped us up about taking care of our planet. It was inspiring!! It was followed by the poster competition. Each class picked an environmental issue and created these super cool posters with catchy messages and awesome designs. We even got to plant trees together in the schoolyard. It felt great to contribute something positive to nature and see our school get a little greener. Also, there were cool booths set up by the Environment Club of our school. Each booth had tons of interesting and insightful information and activities about stuff like pollution, saving animals, and living green. I learned a bunch and even got some ideas on how to be a more eco-friendly person myself. The day ended with a super unique fashion show put on by the seniors. They used recycled stuff like newspapers, plastic bags, and even cardboard to create some seriously awesome clothes. It was so creative and showed how much they care about the environment. Overall, Environment Day at Mansarovar School was epic! It was a powerful reminder of why we need to protect our planet and made me want to do my part every day. I wish you could have been there! See you soon!! Hugs, Ritika |
