- The deadline for filling out JNVST 2023 Application form was 31 January 2023 and all eligible students can fill the form available on the official website navodaya.gov.in.
- The entrance exam is scheduled on 29 April 2023 at 11:30 AM.

Eligibility Criteria
There are a few eligibility requirements that you are required to fulfill to get enrolled at Jawaharlal Navvodaya Vidhyalaya. Some of the basic eligibility requirements are as follows;
- Students are only allowed to register for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for the 2023-2024 session if they were enrolled at government or government-aided schools in the academic year 2022-2023.
- To take admission to Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya, students must pass classes III, IV, and V from government aided/ government/recognized institutions with 1 full academic session.
- To fill out the application form, students must be enrolled in Class 5th.
- Students belonging born before 1-05-2011 and after 30-04-2013 are not eligible for admission. Thus students belonging to the age group 9-13 years are eligible for the admission process.
- Apart from the above eligibility requirements, you must also pay application fees of INR 35 for the admission process.
Please note; you will only get admitted to the school you appear for in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. however, the admission is subject to successful completion of the application process. After completing all the requirements, you will receive a password and registration number on the registered contact number.
Seat Reservation Criteria
Apart from the above eligibility requirements, there are several other requirements regarding seat reservation.
- About 75% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to rural areas within the districts.
- Reservation of seats for SC/ST students which will not be less than the national average.
- About ⅓ of seats are reserved for girl students, and 03% of seats are reserved for children with disabilities.

Application Process
The application process for JNVST admissions is quite simple and all you are required to do is to follow the steps given below;
- You are first required to visit the official website- navodaya.gov.in for class 6th admission of Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidhaylaya.
- Then you are required to click on the registration link available on the homepage of the website mentioned before.
- After successfully filling in all the required details, you are then required to fill the second section about communication details, followed by the previous school details.
- After the successful completion of all the steps mentioned above you are required to note down the application number and download the confirmation page.
