Students who are born in Uttarakhand are offered a 30% concession on their tuition fees, only if they possess the following documents:

  • ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’ certificate, along with the admission form.
  • Income certificate proving that your gross family income is not more than Rs. 12 lakhs per annum, along with a copy of the last income tax return filed.

For admission to Law courses at UPES Dehradun, there is a separate examination conducted, which is the ULSAT. Stage I: Personal Details

The first stage in the UPES application process will require you to enter your personal details, such as the session year, your name and contact details, the course you wish to study, your highest educational qualification, etc. After entering all these details, you’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) on the registered mobile number. 

Stage II: Payment

The second stage will require you to pay the UPES application fee. The UPES Dehradun application fee is INR 1300. Candidates are required to pay this application fee online using their credit card, debit card, or internet banking. 

Stage III: Academic History

During this stage of the application process, aspirants need to enter their education details, names of institutions they’ve been admitted to, their academic records, and the courses they are interested in.

Stage IV: Complete Application

The last stage of the UPES application process requires aspirants to cross-verify all the details they’ve entered in the previous stages. Candidates must ensure that the details they’ve entered in the application form are correct and genuine. If any false details are found by officials, the application form will be rejected, and the student will be barred from applying for future exams.
