ICCR Scholarship: Overview
Administered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the ICCR Scholarship annually awards more than 3000 students from 180 countries. There are 21 different schemes available under this scholarship, 6 of which are funded by the ICCR itself. Every academic year, ICCR sees an influx of 6000+ foreign scholars to study in reputed Indian institutes such as IITs, NITs, and other central/state universities.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ICCR Scholarship 2024, you must fulfil the following criteria:
- You must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries and have a valid passport.
- You must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old.
- You must have completed the required level of education for the course you are applying for and have a minimum GPA of 60% or equivalent.
- You must have a good command of English and have a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS or 90 in TOEFL or equivalent.
- You must not have any serious medical condition or infectious disease.
- You must not be already studying or working in India.
- You must abide by the rules and regulations of ICCR, the university, and the Indian government.
ICCR Scholarship: Award and Benefits
The ICCR Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that covers numerous amounts/benefits for international students pursuing their studies in India. It includes the following:
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly stipend of INR 18,000 (for UG students), INR 20,000 (for PG students), and INR 22,000 (for M.Phil and PhD students).
- Contingent grant of INR 5,000 per annum (for UG students), INR 7,000 per annum (for PG students), and INR 12,500 per annum (for M.Phil and PhD students).

How to Apply?
To apply for the ICCR Scholarship 2024, you must follow the steps given below:
- Visit the Admission to Alumni (A2A) Portal, which is the online portal for ICCR Scholarship application and management.
- Register yourself as an applicant and fill in the online application form with your personal, academic, and course details.
- Choose up to 5 universities and courses from the list of universities/institutes empanelled with ICCR and rank them according to your preference.
- Upload the required documents, such as passport, academic transcripts, English proficiency test scores, recommendation letters, personal statement, resume, etc.
- Submit your application and wait for the confirmation email from ICCR.
