TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2024

The TS ICET eligibility criteria are somewhat similar to other state entrance exams. TS ICET exam happens once a year and the majority of candidates from the state of Telangana as well as other state candidates participate in it. Here, we will discuss the eligibility details that the candidate is required for the exam. 

Age Limit

The minimum age required by the candidate is 18 years on the day of the release of the notification. If the date of birth of the candidate is 31 March 2006 or before then they can apply for the examination. Additionally, there is no maximum age limit for the candidate.

Educational Qualifications

The candidate must have passed the bachelor’s degree with a minimum duration of at least 3 years. Candidates who have completed courses such as B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B.tech, B. Pharm, BCA, etc can apply for the TSICET exam. However, candidates who are currently studying in the final year of their graduation degree or are having results in waiting can also apply for the exam. They are required to have a minimum of 50% marks in the graduation for the unreserved category and 45% for the reserved categories such as BC/SC/ST).

Domicile Criteria

The candidate applying for the TS ICET exam should be a citizen of India and must prove that he is a local or a non-local citizen. Telangana State Council of Higher Education(TSCH) time to time amends its policies. Candidates who are not Indian nationals must fulfil the rules and conditions of the universities.

Documents Required For Applying In TS ICET 2024

Before filling out the application form for TS ICET 2024 candidates are required to arrange certain documents. The candidates require the following documents for the registration process.

  • All the previous and current education qualification documents of the candidates. It includes X, XII, and Graduation documents.
  • Contact details such as a valid email ID and phone number. 
  • The scanned passport-size photograph left a thumb impression and the signature of the candidates in a proper format given in the table below. Photographs and signatures should be in JPG/JPEG format. Additionally, the size of the photograph should be less than 30 kB, and of signature should be less than 15 kB.
  • For fee payment by net banking, credit card/debit card, or other payment methods.

How to Apply For the TS ICET Exam?

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply for the TS ICET Exam on the website of the authority. Here, are step-by-step processes by which the candidates can fill out the application form. 

Application Fee Payment

Firstly, candidates are required to pay the application fees of the TS ICET exam for further process. They are required to read all the instructions before making any kind of payment. After reading the instructions click on the continue button and proceed to fill in the details. They can select the payment option after filling in all the details and proceed with payment. Moreover, after the payment is done candidates can proceed with the further application process. The fee amount that the candidates of various categories have to pay is given in the table below.

Check the payment status after that by visiting the official website of TS ICET 2024 by entering details such as qualifying exam hall ticket number, Date of Birth, and Mobile number.

Filling the TS ICET 2024 Application Form

A transaction ID along with the hall ticket number gets generated after the completion of the payment. The hall ticket number, Mobile number, Payment Reference ID, and Date of birth

are used for logging, and after that applicants can fill out the TS ICET 2024 application form. After filling in the details candidate will get redirected to the page where they have to fill out the application form. The new page will open where the candidates have to fill in their personal and academic details. 

Final Submission Of The Form

After all the details get filled in and documents get uploaded candidates can save all the details by clicking on the save button. Candidates can submit the form after verifying all the details are correct. The application number and status will appear on the screen after submission of the application which candidates can print or note down for future use.
