Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tamil Nadu has extended the registration deadline for medical counselling in the state. The last date to register for TN NEET UG Counselling 2023 is now July 12, 2023. Check out the details and steps to apply below.

The registration deadline for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling has been extended by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), DME Tamil Nadu. Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling round can now register until July 12, 2023. The registration process can be completed on the official website of DME, TN at tnmedicalselection.net. 

Previously, the deadline to apply was July 10, but it was extended in response to numerous requests from candidates seeking an extension for submitting applications for MBBS/BDS courses for the academic year 2023-2024. Find out the registration process and application fee for Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling below.

Steps to Apply for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling

To register for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling, candidates can follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of DME, TN which is tnmedicalselection.net.

Step 2: Then, click on the registration link for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling, available on the homepage of the official website.

Step 3: A new page will open once you do that, where you will need to complete the online registration process.

Step 4: After registration, log in to the account.

Step 5: Fill out the application form and make the payment of the required application fees.

Step 6: Once the form is completed, click on the submit button.

Step 7: Download the page and and also take out its printed copy for future reference.

Application Fee

For candidates belonging to the general category, the application fee is INR 500. SC/SCA/ST applicants are exempted from paying the application fee. A total amount of INR 30k is required to be paid as security deposit for government quota. On the other hand, INR 1 lakh has to be paid for the management quota. In case an applicant has been allotted a seat in the second round or subsequent rounds, and he/she doesn’t join the respective institution, then the security deposit will be forfeited.
