RMAT FAQs 2023

The RMAT is an entrance test conducted to select candidates for admission into the PhD programme of Business Management by AIMA in association with the esteemed Aligarh Muslim University.

The last date for both sessions of the RMAT exam 2023 is yet to be announced by the exam conducting body. However, the deadline for the July session is expected in April and for the January session, this deadline is likely to be in either September or October.

However, the test for the PhD programme in Business Management is expected to be conducted between March and April for the July session and for the January session, it is likely to be between September and October.

The application fee for the RMAT exam 2023 is INR 1500. This payment of the application fee can be made online only through a debit card, credit card or net banking.

The application for the AIMA RMAT can be done both offline and online mode by either visiting the centre or the official website of the AIMA. At the centre, the programme managers will guide you through the entire application process. 

The applying candidate must hold a master’s degree in management or equivalent subjects or have completed PGDM/PGDITM from an institute approved by AICTE with minimum marks of 55% or equivalent grade. Additionally, the candidate must have completed graduation with a minimum mark of 50%. 

Yes, candidates from chartered accountancy or cost accountancy are eligible to appear for the RMAT exam 2023 subject to the condition that the candidate must have a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate. Additionally, candidates having 5 or more years of teaching experience post-qualification in any field can apply.

No, the RMAT exam will not have any negative markings. 

The RMAT exam 2023 will be an internet-based test (IBT) conducted online. 

The duration for the RMAT exam for admission into the PhD programme in Business Management is 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).

The RMAT exam for PhD programme in Business Management will consist of a total of 150 questions in multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format.

The syllabus for the PhD programme in Business Management RMAT exam consists of two parts. Part A is called the basics of business management and part B is called the research fundamentals and aptitude.

The candidates can check their results by visiting the official website of the AIMA RMAT once available. Candidates need to go to the result tab, click on the link and the candidate will be redirected to a new tab. After filling in the login credentials carefully and the result/scorecard will be displayed on the screen. 

The result for the RMAT exam 2023 is expected to be released between March and July 2023. The appearing candidates are advised to stay tuned to the official website for regular updates regarding the exam.
