- 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + … + n = n(n + 1)/2
- (1² + 2² + 3² + ….. + n²) = n ( n + 1 ) (2n + 1) / 6

- Sum of first n odd numbers = n²
- Sum of first n even numbers = n (n + 1)

- Profit (or) Gain = SP – CP
- Profit % = (Profit/CP) × 100
- SP = (100 + gain % )/100 × CP
