Marking Scheme 2023
The KVS Exam is structured into four parts, namely Part I, Part II, Part III, and Part IV, and the entire KVS Exam Pattern is detailed here:
- The complete KVS PGT Teacher exam will consist of 180 questions.
- Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking in the KVS Exam.
- Candidates will have a total of 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam, which will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Exam Pattern for Music Teachers and Librarians
The KVS PRT Music Teacher Exam assesses the candidates’ overall musical abilities and knowledge. It is essential for the candidates to have a strong command of music. There is no minimum score requirement for each section, so candidates are encouraged to attempt all the questions with high accuracy.
The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written examination and interviews. These two exams will be conducted for a period of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
