One of the most prestigious examinations for admission to a 5-year Integrated program in Management is the JIPMAT Exam. The exam is organised and curated by the National Testing Agency. The two institutions IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu will be the primary participating colleges for admissions after class 12th through JIPMAT. The process of admission concludes after the JIPMAT Seat Allotment and the commencement of classes.

JIPMAT Seat Allotment

The JIPMAT Seat Allotment process is a part of the complete JIPMAT admission procedure. Seat allotment is basically the awarding of seats to various candidates based on their qualifications and the selection procedure. The seats are allotted for the BBA + MBA integrated programs in the two Indian Institute of Management in Jammu and Bodh Gaya.

JIPMAT Seat Allotment Selection Process 

The JIPMAT exam has a rigorous selection process that involves the JIPMAT Score, Class 10th Score and Class 12th Score. Together the combination of these three gives the JIPMAT Cutoff and Merit List by each JIPMAT College. 

Based on the merit list, the students are allotted seats in the JIPMAT Colleges. The Breakage of the JIPMAT selection process is given below:

The reservation criteria for the JIPMAT Seat Allotment is very crucial as it decides how many seats get allotted to which categories. The reservation criteria basically remain the same for JIPMAT Seat Allotment. The guidelines by the Government of India are followed for the process.

What is the JIPMAT Exam for?

The JIPMAT Exam is for the admission of students in the 5-year BBA+MBA program in Management at IIM Jammu or IIM Bodh Gaya. 

What is the difference between IPMAT and JIPMAT?

The Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (IPMAT) is organised for admissions in IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak whereas the Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is for admissions in IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.

Is it easy to rack JIPMAT?

Yes, if a candidate dedicatedly prepares for the examination for at least a month, cracking the JIPMAT Exam is not very hard. 

Who are eligible for JIPMAT?

Candidates who have passed the class 12th examination or are appearing for the exam can apply. The candidates however will have to produce their mark sheets at the time of admission.
