The ITBP Exam 2022 for the post of Head Constable at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has been announced for the September 2022 batch. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the organising committee for the exam released the notification for the ITBP Exam 2022 in August. 

UPSC has released 293 vacancies for the Head Constable and Constable posts in the telecommunication department of the ITBP on a temporary basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website of ITBP, i.e. www.upsc.gov.in

ITBP Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

ITBP Exam 2022 Syllabus

There are two papers of the ITBP exam conducted by UPSC; Paper I and Paper II. The syllabus of both papers is different.

 Paper I Syllabus:

  • Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.
  • Indian History
  • Indian Polity
  • World and Indian Geography
  • Science
  • Current Affairs (International and National)

Paper II Syllabus:

Paper II of ITBP recruitment is a descriptive-type exam.

ITBP Exam 2022 Application Process

Candidates who are interested in the ITBP Exam 2022 can easily apply on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission.

Candidates must follow the steps given below to fill out their Application Forms:

  • Visit the official UPSC website.
  • On the notification bar, click on ‘Apply now’ and enter the basic information.
  • Choose the exam center at your convenience. The exam center cannot be changed after the submission of the Application Form.
  • Pay the Application Fee, i.e. INR 200 either online or offline by generating a challan.
  • After paying the Application Fee, candidates will receive a confirmation email of their application.

The result of the ITBP exam 2022 will be released by the officials of UPSC within 30-40 days after the exam. Only those candidates who have scored more than the cut-off marks will be considered selected.
