Galgotias University conducts the Galgotias University Law School Admission Test, commonly referred to as GULSAT. Applicants who get selected for the exam will be called for the GULSAT counselling process. The examination aims to enrol meritorious aspirants in courses like BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLB. GULSAT Counselling Process

Galgotias University will tentatively conduct the counselling process for GULSAT 2023 in the month of July. After the result of the GULSAT is announced a merit list will be prepared. Candidates who fail to attend the GULSAT Counselling will not be considered for admission. Applicants can refer to the following steps to get an in-depth knowledge of the counselling procedure.

GULSAT Merit List

After the GULSAT result is announced the exam authorities will prepare a merit list of the shortlisted candidates. The selected candidates will be notified by the exam authorities.

GULSAT Counselling 

Applicants who have their names on the merit list will be shortlisted. Candidates must reach the counselling venue at the given time and date.

GULSAT Documents Verification

Applicants who are called to the counselling venue will have to verify their documents. It is recommended that students carry their original documents for verification. The documents required for the verification are as follows:

  • 10th mark sheet and certificate
  • 12th mark sheet and certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Migration certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Aadhar card
  • Photo of the candidate
  • Gap year affidavit (if required)
  • GULSAT admit card

Fee Payment

After the exam officials verify the candidate’s documents, he/she has to pay the college fee to secure their seats for the course.

Who are Eligible for the GULSAT Counselling?

GULSAT authorities release a cut-off after the results are out. According to the cut-off, a merit list will be prepared which contains the names of the selected candidates. The counselling is done after the release of the merit list. Let us find out who will be eligible for the counselling

1. Candidates do not have to book a slot for the counselling process.

2. Shortlisted candidates will get a call for counselling.

3. If a candidate is unable to present the required documents at the time of counselling, his/her candidature will be considered invalid.


What are the documents required for GULSAT counselling?

Candidate needs to bring original documents to the counselling centre. The list of documents is: Academic transcripts(10th-12th mark sheet), Character certificate, Migration certificate, Gap year affidavit, Identity proof, photograph, and GULSAT admit card
