GLAT Exam 2023 Important Dates

The GLAT exam is conducted every year to intake students in its Law programs. The application process is completely online and the forms can be accessed on the official website of the Geeta Institute of Law. The important dates to mark the calendars for the GLAT Exams are as follows.

GLAT Exam Pattern 2023

The Coursework of BA LLB and BBA in LLB includes subjects like Sociology, Economics, Political Science and English along with the law-based subjects of different types of Law, Indian Penal Code or based on the areas of specialisation. 

The exam pattern of the entrance exam is based on the aptitude of the students in Law and the knowledge of basic subjects like English and the Indian Economy, current affairs and social & political dynamics. The intake of students based on the GLAT Exam in various courses is as follows:

GLAT Marking Scheme 2023

The way of answering any objective or subjective exam highly depends on the marking scheme of the examination. The candidates will not try to innovate in tests that are evaluated by Artificial Intelligence or Computer-Based Systems. 

Similarly, the question papers with negative markings will not be answered by the students on guesses. While answering the GLAT Exam the candidates should keep the following in mind.

  1. Every question in GLAT Entrance Exam carries 1 mark.
  2. There is no negative marking in GLAT Exam. 
  3. The GLAT Exam is evaluated internally by the officials of the Geeta Institute of Law.

GLAT Section-Wise Weightage 2023

Weightage of the various sections in the GLAT Exam Pattern depends on the relevance of the subject in the program in which the student is being admitted. The Legal aptitude and current affairs sections carry more weightage in the GLAT exam pattern. 

The timing of examination is not divided section-wise so the candidates can practise solving general sections in time to invest the rest of the time in solving specific questions carefully. The weightage of marks is given below.

What is GLAT Exam conducted for?

GLAT Exams are conducted for the intake of students in the Law courses of Geeta Institute of Law in Panipat Haryana. The courses offered by the institute are; Integrated BA LLB, Integrated BBA LLB, LLB, and LLM. 

Are GLAT 2023 registrations Open?

Yes, registrations for the 2023 GLAT Exam are open. The registrations are open since the 16th of January 2023 and will remain open till the 14th of May 2023. 

What Scholarships are offered in the GLAT Exam?

Geeta Institute of Law conducts the Law Admission and Scholarship Test (GLAT) for admissions and Scholarships. It offers the Geeta GLAT Merit Scholarship (Scholarship amount INR 30,000) and Geeta Outstanding Merit Scholarships (Scholarship Amount INR 25,000 – 50,000). Both are based on performance in the GLAT exam.

The exam will be conducted later this year and the candidates have plenty of time to prepare the GLAT Exam Syllabus and practice GLAT Question Papers.
