CUSAT CAT Law Eligibility Criteria 2023

Students appearing for CUSAT CAT law 2023 must fulfil the eligibility criteria which is given by the university. It includes minimum educational qualification, age limit, etc. 

Eligibility criteria for a 5-year LLB programme

  • Aspirants appearing for BBA LLB and BCom LLB courses should have secured at least 60% marks in their Class 12 exams if they have commerce or science stream. Candidates from the humanities stream should have secured at least 55% marks. 
  • There is no minimum age limit set by the university.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST OR SEBC communities should have secured 50% cent marks to appear for the examination.

Eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB programme

  • Aspirants appearing for the 3-year LLB programme should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in their class 12 exams.
  • Candidates from SC, ST and SEBC communities are eligible for a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.
  • There is no minimum age limit set by the university.

The official notification from the university has not been released for CUSAT CAT 2023. But it is expected to release in the month of February. 

How many questions in total will be asked in the CUSAT CAT law 2023 exam?

The CUSAT CAT 2023 is a 3-hour exam with a total of 150 questions. You will gain 3 marks for each correct answer and (-) 1 for each wrong answer.
