As a part of the application process, candidates are required to choose the CTET exam centre while registering. There are around 132 exam centres in India for CTET February 2026 exam. This preference is to be chosen while filling up the CTET application form. Also, candidates must carry their admit card to the CTET test centre in order to appear for the exam. CBSE does not allow candidates to change their exam centre after the selection and payment of the CTET test fee. While filling out the application form you get an option to choose the examination centres. Keep in mind that you should go to the centre which is the shortest distance from your place and easier for you to reach.

CTET Exam Centre Allotment Process
The exam centres are allotted on a first come first serve basis. It is highly advised to make a feasible choice while choosing the exam centres. In case of any extreme changes, you can opt to change the exam centres using the application correction form.

Guidelines to Follow at CTET Exam Centres
Make sure you are keeping in mind these instructions at an exam centre.
- Make sure you are reaching the examination centre.
- Maintain decorum throughout the examination.
- Carrying any material that is not allowed can lead to cancellation of the examination.
