CTET December Exam Date Schedule 2024

Candidates who are waiting for the CTET Exam date 2024 for December should know that the exact exam dates and test schedules will be provided with the crucial details soon on the official website. Hence, candidates are recommended to keep tabs on the website to stay updated with the important CTET 2024 Exam dates.

CBSE conducts the CTET exam in two shifts for paper 1 and paper 2. The first shift (CTET Paper 1) will be administered in the morning, i.e., 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift (CTET Paper 2) will be conducted during the afternoon, i.e.,  from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. What is the CTET Exam?

The CBSE is responsible for administrating the national-level CTET( Central Teacher Eligibility Test) examination every year to recruit eligible individuals for various teaching posts (in government schools, private schools etc.) across India. The frequency of the CTET exam is twice a year, i.e., it is held in July and December. The official notification for the said exam was released by CBSE on 27 April 2024. Aspirants intending to pursue their career in the academic field of teaching must register themselves for the CTET 2024 Exam before the deadline.

CTET Application Date 2024

The CTET Exam (2024) Application window will remain open after the announcement of notification for the December session. Aspirants intending to work as private and government school teachers in CBSE-affiliated schools are encouraged to register for the CTET 2024 Exam in December month. It is a mandate for aspirants to pay the requisite amount of application fee to ensure a seamless and successful registration process.

When will the CTET 2024 Exam be held? 

The CTET July Exam will tentatively take place sometime between July and August (2024).

When will the CTET Exam Admit Cards 2024 be made available? 

Every year, two days before the July exams, CBSE  issues the CTET admit cards. As of 2024, the exact dates for the release of CTET Admit Cards haven’t been declared yet by CBSE. 

Who conducts the CTET Exam every year?

The Central Board of Secondary Education is responsible for conducting the national-level CTET Examinations every year.
