B-MAT Eligibility Criteria: Bharati Vidyapeeth Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as the BMAT exam, is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (deemed to be a university). The test is conducted once a year in online mode to select eligible and qualified candidates for admission to the full-time MCA and MBA programmes at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

B-MAT Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Before beginning the application process for the BMAT entrance examination, candidates need to fulfil certain eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA and MCA programmes at the Bharati Vidyapeeth. The successful registration of the application for the BMAT examination is subject to fulfilling the defined eligibility criteria by Bharati Vidyapeeth.
Educational Qualification for MBA
- The applying candidate must have passed the 12th standard and full-time graduation (3 years) with minimum aggregate marks of 50% and candidates belonging to the reserved category must have 45% in the qualifying examination.
- The candidate must have completed their formal education of 15 years i.e., 10+2+3 or 10+2+4.
- Applicants who have pursued their graduation in another medium of a language other than English will have to complete an orientation programme in English provided by the university’s satisfaction.
- Candidates who have completed their graduation on a part-time basis or a one-time setting or a two-year basis are not eligible for the BMAT entrance examination.

Educational Qualification for MCA
- Applicants must have passed a full-time BCA or hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent or passed B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with mathematics at the 12th standard or graduation level. In the latter case, candidates will be required to undergo additional bridge courses as per the university norms.
- Additionally, aspirants must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate mark of 50%. This number is reduced to 45% for candidates belonging to the reserved category.
Age Limit
According to the brochure of the MBA and MCA programmes, there is no defined age limit prescribed by Bharati Vidyapeeth to be eligible to apply for the BMAT exam.
Nationality
The applying candidates must be a citizen of India to be eligible for admission to the MBA and MCA programmes offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth through the BMAT examination.
