AIC Exam Selection Process

The selection process for the AIC Exam 2023 consists of multiple stages aimed at assessing candidates’ aptitude and skills. The process involves an online examination and an interview, with a total score of 200 points.

Online Examination

Candidates are required to participate in an Online Examination that comprises both objective and descriptive sections, with a total of 150 marks. The duration of the examination is 2 ½ hours (150 minutes). The minimum qualifying marks for the online examination are 60% for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and 55% for SC/ST candidates. The online examination is scheduled for February 25, 2023. The details of the online test are as follows:

  1. Test of Reasoning (Objective) – 35 Marks, 35 Questions, English/Hindi Medium, 90 minutes.
  2. Test of English Language (Objective) – 30 Marks, 30 Questions, English Medium.
  3. Test of General Awareness (Objective) – 20 Marks, 20 Questions, English/Hindi Medium.
  4. Test of Quantitative Aptitude & Computer Literacy (Objective) – 30 Marks, 30 Questions, English/Hindi Medium.
  5. Descriptive English Test (Essay, precis, and comprehension) – 35 Marks, 3 Questions, English only, 1 hour.

Candidates should note that there will be negative markings for wrong answers. One-fourth (1/4) of the allotted marks for each objective question will be deducted for incorrect answers. No penalty will be applied for questions left blank.

Interview

Candidates who successfully pass the online examination will be ranked based on their merit and invited for an interview conducted by AIC.
