The full form of NADA is National Anti-Doping Agency. The national body NADA in India is in charge of promoting, directing, and overseeing the doping control program in all forms of sport. On November 24, 2005, the Government of India established NADA as a registered society under the Societies of Registration Act of 1890. The World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) anti-doping rules and regulations are adopted and put into effect by NADA.

NADA is an independent organization that reports to India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Representatives and scientists from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) are members of NADA.
