Sejong University is a private university located in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1940 as Kyung Sung Humanities Institute, it became a teaching college for women before establishing itself as a university in 1978, and it was named after Sejong The Great, the fourth king of the Chosun Dynasty. The university comprises of nine colleges, namely: College of Social Science, College of Liberal Arts, College of Business Administration, College of Hospitality and Tour Management, College of Natural Science, College of Life Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Electronics and Information Security, and College of Arts and Physical Education. The most popular professional courses include hotel management, physical education, animation, design, dancing, rhythmic gymnastics.
