History, Affiliations and Rankings
Hertie School started its journey in 2003 based in Frankfurt, as the First European Professional School for Public Policy. The Education at Hertie School is based upon Research, Degree Programs, Executive Education, and finally Knowledge transfer. Hertie School has partnerships with TATA Institute Of Social Studies, WZB Berlin Social Science Centre, Freie Universitat Berlin, European School of Management and technology, and University of Potsdam.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
The Campus of Hertie School is located in the heart of Cosmopolitan Berlin, being a walking distance away from the government District and other major Landmarks. The school has only one campus offering a plethora of postgraduate and doctoral courses. The School offers courses like Masters in Public Policy, Masters in International Affairs, and Executive Masters in Public Administration.
Accomplishments and Alumni
Since its establishment, Hertie School has had a long road of achievements. In February 2005, the Hertie School was awarded state recognition as a college of higher education by the Berlin Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture. In October 2017, the Hertie School once again received full accreditation to confer doctoral degrees for another ten years. Many Notable Alumni like Emilia Roig (Author), Damian Boeselager (Member of the European Parliament), and Robert Lepenies (Researcher) have graduated through the Hertie School.
