Hacettepe University is a popular Turkish university established in 1967 with its two primary campuses in the old town of Ankara and over 1,000-acres of woodland in Beytepe. The university offers more than 150 undergraduate degree programs and over 200 postgraduate courses organised across 14 faculties in Medicine, Dentistry, Science, Health Sciences, Sport Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Economics and Administrative Science, Fine Arts, Law, Education, Communication and Letters. There are various study groups and choirs in the field of photography, arts, folk dances conducting cultural events and activities within and outside the university. Outdoor sports facilities include basketball and volleyball courts, American football fields, tennis courts, swimming pool and track and field facilities.
