History, Affiliations and Ranking
Established in 1917, Bentley University (famously known as Bentley Boston University) was famously known as the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance, Bentley College of Accounting and Finance, and Bentley College. Harry C.Bentley was the founder and president of the University of Bentley until 1953. It was accredited to grant four-year Bachelor of Science degrees in 14 business fields and Bachelor of Arts degrees in 11 Arts and Science disciplines. The institute holds a prominent impact on Technology in Business. According to US News and World Report, Bentley University ranks at #2 in the Best Regional Universities Rankings 2022. The Princeton Review has placed the university at #1 for Undergraduate Career Services.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
Bentley University campus stretches across 163 acres of land and has three campuses, namely Upper Campus, Lower Campus, and North Campus. The upper campus is located on the North Side of Beaver Street and constitutes most of its academic buildings and classrooms. Lower Campus connects to North Campus via a bridge over Beaver Street. It comprises more upper-level student housing, a multi-purpose area, the Dana Athletic Centre. The North Campus is located halfway to the north of the main entrance to the upper campus on Forest Street. The Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business also offers Bentley MBA programs with 16 areas of concentration and incorporates MS+MBA, seven MS degrees, seven certificate programs of graduation, and custom executive education programs. Bentley University provides 25 majors and 36 minors in Business, Science, and Arts. The university requires official high school transcripts, college essays, senior grades/scores, and ACT & SAT scores of 29 and 1321 respectively to be eligible for Bentley University Admissions.
