Ans: I would choose the apartment near the campus, even if it is slightly expensive. This is because it would significantly help in reducing commuting time which is very crucial for a student. The time that I can save from commuting can be used for doing productive activities such as studying, doing research, pursuing hobbies, or relaxing. This, in turn, would not only enhance my academic performance but will also help in contributing to a balanced lifestyle that is essential for mental health. 

In addition to this, living closer to the campus will keep me integrated with the campus community. It is important as university life is not only about academics. It is also about participating in extracurricular activities and social events. Living near the campus can help by providing me with the flexibility to engage in study groups, club meetings, or social gatherings. In conclusion, while the financial aspect is indeed important, the advantages of living near the campus, in terms of time efficiency and community engagement, justify the additional expense in my view. Therefore, I would opt for an apartment near the campus.
