Q- Some people prefer to respond to emails, phone calls, and other messages they receive immediately. Others take more time to respond. Which do you do, and why?

Ans: I prefer to answer calls, messages, and emails as soon as possible for two reasons, first, I believe it is fundamental decorum not to leave someone hanging, and second, the person on the other side may be in trouble or distress. Therefore, by responding late, I’ll just be adding to their stress. 

I’ve seen folks react late just because they believe it will make them appear busy or important to the other person. This type of behaviour, in my opinion, is incredibly juvenile and pompous. There may be people who are eager to speak with you, and by answering late, you may deprive them of this chance. 

Personally, I would never resort to such type of behaviour. Whether or not the person is in distress, I will respond to them immediately.
