What Students Will Learn?

Students will learn the principles of solar energy with a focus on grid-direct photovoltaic (PV) systems during the programme. Even many parts, system architectures, and applications that are applicable to all kinds of PV systems will be covered in class.

Students will participate in site study, system sizing, array configuration, and performance estimation. Electrical ign features like wiring, current protection, and grounding are also covered in the course.

Even they will be given a detailed look at module and inverter specifications and characteristics; mounting methods for different roof structures and ground mounts; and an introduction to safely and effectively commissioning grid-direct PV systems.

Also, housing is included, and individuals who reside more than 75 miles from the job site will also receive a monthly stipend of $1,500. Construction, human resources, government affairs, and other fields may offer internships. There is some flexibility, although most internships during the summer last eight to ten weeks.

Moreover, kids will be provided with the chance to participate in solar training, added Jones. By collaborating with BPS, Ohio educators can learn how to include solar components in their present curricula and raise awareness of the solar sector.
