The University of Sheffield organises a staged admission drill for postgraduate courses to help students apply quickly and efficiently. Every year, Sheffield receives more applications than seats available in a course.
To manage these applications and admissions mismatches, the university operates a stage admission and decision procedure throughout the year. Some of whose deadlines are approaching for the September 2024 intake.
Students have to apply through the Postgraduate Online Application Form as usual. However, the university prefers applications that exceed the admission criteria. The staged admissions for September 2025 will begin from September 2024.
