The University of Waterloo (UWaterloo) is offering mathematics scholarships to Indian students under the ‘Global and India Scholarships’ category. These scholarships are available to Indian students on a student visa for the academic year 2024-25. To study in the Faculty of Mathematics students can apply for 3 types of scholarships:
- Mathematics Global Scholarships
- Mathematics International Elite Awards: India
- Mathematics International Excellence Awards: India
Applications have to be submitted for the scholarship consideration. Moreover, the university encourages students to participate in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest and/or Euclid Mathematics Contest to strengthen their application. The deadline for the application is Friday, February 16, 2024. Interested students must apply online before the deadline.
UWaterloo Mathematics Scholarships Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the University of Waterloo Mathematics Scholarships are as follows. Note: the eligibility requirements vary depending on the scholarship type.

However, Computing, Financial Management, and Software Engineering students are not eligible. | Demonstrate academic excellence, and interest in mathematics/computer science, and submit a supplementary mathematics paper. |

The University of Waterloo Mathematics Scholarship is as follows.
