As per the new official update by IRCC, the PTE Core (Pearson Test of English) will be acceptable by Canada Immigration from 30th January 2024. Furthermore, electronic copies of the language test results will also be accepted. However, these language test results are unacceptable for a Canadian study visa or study permit under the Student Direct Stream (DTS). PTE core is available only for permanent residency candidates and economic immigration programs.
