Study Abroad: Foreign universities visiting India to boost academic collaboration
The King’s University College delegates would be meeting the top Indian universities, institutions, and stakeholders.

The National Education Policy (2020) goal to internationalize the higher education sector has resulted in several universities collaborating with India. A senior delegation from King’s University College would be visiting India to strengthen the ties and to develop the education sector. Moreover, a UK delegation visited Pune earlier this month to strengthen education, trade, and security ties. The Indian ambassador to Bulgaria, BHU VC has also discussed the university’s collaboration with Bulgarian Universities.

Delegates from King’s University College would be visiting key Indian universities, institutions, and stakeholders. Moreover, they will visit the applicants and their families in Delhi and Mumbai. The visit would be headed by David C Malloy, president of the King’s University College, and Tracy Cunningham, Director of Enrolment Services and Registrar. The tour was hosted by Sushant Aurora, the King’s Recruitment officer from India. 

Aim of the visit by the King’s University College Delegates

The university aims to boost academic partnerships with India and to help within its capacity to build its education sector. Another goal is to improve the social, and commercial exchange between the countries. 

UK delegation visited the Symbiosis International University

The delegates were welcomed by Prof (DR.) S B Mujumdar, Chancellor of the Symbiosis International University (SIU), Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor of SIU, and Dr Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor of SIU. The aim of the visit was to strengthen research and academic collaboration with top-ranked Indian universities. The delegates in their visit had praised the multidisciplinary nature of the SIU. The visit took place on 13th April 2023.

BHU VC discussed collaboration with the Bulgarian Universities 

Sanjay Rana, the Indian Ambassador to Bulgaria, and Sudhir Kumar Jain, the Vice Chancellor of BHU discussed ways to enhance collaboration with the Bulgarian universities. As per Rana, Bulgarian students are keen to learn more about India. Moreover, Indology attracts a lot of students to BHU. 

Delegates visiting Indian Universities would mean strengthening ties between India and the respective country. It would also mean that the foreign university is open to International students.
