Study Abroad: Canada Immigration Fees for 2024

IRRC announced an increase in the Immigration fees of Canada for all permanent resident applications starting from 30th April 2024. IRCC has increased this fee every two years from 2020 also the new rise in fees is significant as compared to the previous increase in fees in 2022. Previously the fees were increased in April 2022 with a relatively small increase to the fees of about 3% but the new fees that will be effective from 30th April 2024 are nearly 12 – 13%.

All permanent residence applicants, except for dependent children and protected individuals are exempt from paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.
