Study Abroad: Applications Open for University of Leeds International Excellence Scholarship 2024 

The University of Leeds (UL) offers an international excellence scholarship for the academic year 2024-25. The scholarship is available to postgraduate students enrolling in an eligible program at the university. The International Excellence Scholarship covers up to 25% or 50% of the tuition fees depending on the selected program. The scholarship aims to support international students to fulfill their academic potential and contribute to the cultural and social diversity of the student community. The last date to apply is on 17 May 2024. The results will be mailed to the applicants by  Friday 14 June 2024. Moreover, the selected students must confirm their scholarship acceptance by  28 June 2024.

UL International Excellence Scholarship Eligibility

The general eligibility requirement for the University of Leeds International Excellence scholarship is as follows:

• The applicant must be an international student and must be classified as an international fee-paying student for tuition fee purposes
• The student must have applied to study an eligible Masters program at the university for the academic year 2024-25
• Moreover, the student must not receive funding from other sources that when combined with this course can cover the entire tuition fees
• Additionally, the applicant must demonstrate an excellent academic record and must have achieved or predicted to achieve a BA degree with a 2:1 (hons) or equivalent
• The applicant must also demonstrate excellent personal and professional skills. These must be demonstrated in the extracurricular activities and the work experience.

The University of Leeds International Excellence Scholarship eligible subject areas are: 

• Biological Sciences, Medicine, and Health- Psychology and Biological Sciences
• Arts, Humanities, and Cultures- Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, Languages, Cultures and Societies, History, Media and Communication, Philosophy, Religion and History of Science, and Music.
• Education, Social Sciences, and Law- Education, Politics and International Studies, Law, Sociology and Social Policy
• Leeds University Business School-Leeds University Business School Masters course,
• Engineering and Physical Sciences-Chemical and Process Engineering, Computing, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, etc
• Environment-Earth and Environment, Food Science and Nutrition, etc
