Study Abroad: 6,000 Indian Students Choose Ireland for Diverse Study Abroad Programs in 2022

According to Irish Embassy, more than 6,000 Indian students choose Ireland for their undergraduate and graduate study abroad programmes in 2022. The Irish educational system asserts to provide a variety of curricula encompassing several academic fields.

Students who match their studies with Ireland’s Critical Skills Occupation List improve their employability and increase Ireland’s appeal as a top choice for overseas students.

Additionally, Irish Government offers international students post-study work opportunities as well. This helps international students stay in the country and work even after completing their education. 

Moreover, as per the Third Level Graduate Scheme, non-European Economic Area (EEA) graduates residing in Ireland can extend their stay for up to 24 months to actively seek employment.

With the help of this programme, graduates have unfettered access to the Irish labour market. However, students can work in any occupation without needing a work visa. Graduates with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree can use it.
