All Indian healthcare professionals who are looking to take the OET exam will have to pay a fee of AUD 587 which is approximately INR 31,8576 (as of January 17, 2025). As mentioned earlier, this is the combined fee if the candidate plans to sit for all the sections.

• 3 sub-tests: AUD 515

OET Exam Registration 2025

All those candidates interested in taking the OET exam are required to register themselves by visiting the official OET website in online mode only. Upon visiting the official website, the student will be required to log in through “My OET Registration Page” and then continue the OET registration for 2025.

• Visit the official OET website.
• Select the “book a test” option.
• Then, you will have to select the test location, test centre and the type of test you wish to take which could be: a computer-based or paper-based test. Click on the ‘book now’ option.

OET Exam Cancellation Fees 2025

If the candidate wishes to cancel their registration for the OET exam due to some reasons, they can do so by simply cancelling or withdrawing and will get a refund. However, there will be conditions for doing so, these are as follows:

1. The candidate must start the process for cancellation one week before the test.
2. Withdrawals made on or before Sunday at 23:59 CST, right before the test, will be eligible for refunds.
3. No reimbursements will be made on Monday after 0:00, only before the test.
4. The entire application must be withdrawn by the candidate.
5. The main disadvantage of withdrawal is that it cannot be reversed.

How to Cancel OET on Paper at a Venue?

As mentioned earlier, your process for cancellation must be one week prior. For example: if your exam is on Friday, you can cancel up to Saturday at 11:59, the prior week.

• To begin, log in to your OET account.
• Find the booking you wish to cancel and click on ‘Withdraw’.

How to Cancel OET on Computer at Venue/OET at Home?

To cancel your OET exam on a computer at the venue or OET at home, you must ensure that you start the process two days before the test. For example: If your test day is at 9 am on Saturday, you cancel up to 9 am on Thursday the week prior. 

• Log into your OET account.
• On your dashboard, click on the option ‘My Bookings’ available on the left-hand side.
• Find the booking you wish to cancel and click on ‘Cancel Booking’.

OET Refund Policy after Cancellation

Once you have cancelled your application for the OET exam, the amount will be refunded which will be counted as ‘cancellation fees’. This fee will vary on the type of test and when you cancelled it.

Following is the cancellation amount that you will receive depending on the situation.

For OET on Paper at Home

Cancellations Submitted Before the Closing Date:

If you cancel the full OET test (all four sub-tests) before the closing date, you will get a refund of AU$460.

OET Exam Fee (Paper-Based Test Only)

Before you reschedule your OET paper-based test, here are some important things that you must keep in mind:

1. You can only reschedule all sub-tests together in a test booking.
2. Once your test has been rescheduled, it cannot be reversed.
3. You won’t be able to repurchase the OET test that has been purchased with a discount code. Instead, you will have to cancel and change the date, venue and other details.

How to Reschedule Test for a Paper-Based Test?

• Log in to your OET account.
• Click on the small arrow in the Action column under the My Applications section then click defer.
• Choose your new test date and/or venue and click confirm. 

Keep in mind you can reschedule your test in your OET account up to 23:59 pm the day before the test. If you do not reschedule before the test, you will need to book a new test 

OET Exam Fee (Computer-Based tests only)/ OET at Home

To reschedule your OET exam for a computer-based test or at home, you must follow these instructions:

• Log in to your OET account.
• Click on the ‘My Bookings’ tab.
• Locate the test booking you wish to reschedule and click Reschedule Booking.
• For OET on Computer and OET@Home only: You will be asked to reschedule Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking or the Speaking sub-test only. Select which option you’d like to proceed with. 
• Choose what you’d like to reschedule your test to.
• Confirm your new dates and proceed to the payment page. 
• To reschedule your test within 48 hours before the start of your first subtest, you will be asked to fill out a form with your complete details.

How Much Does it Cost to Reschedule the OET Exam?

Again, the cost of rescheduling your OET exam depends on the type of test and when you wish to reschedule. Below is the amount of fee that you will be charged for rescheduling the OET exam.
