This exam is for engineers who have gained a minimum of 4 years of post-college work experience in a particular field of engineering.

NCEES PE Exam 2023 Notification

The PE Structural exam is still in the conversion phase and is scheduled to be launched in 2024. Currently, the exam is conducted in a paper-based format only and is administered twice per year.

In the United States, Professional Licensing Boards provide state-level licenses to engineers. The boards confer P.E. licenses to a candidate only if they meet eligibility requirements and education criteria. Registration for some of the P.E and F.E exams is open around the year. Registration for the paper-based  P.E structural exam in April 2023 will open on 5 December 2022 at 10.00 am EST to 16 February 2023 at 3.00 EST.
