International students wanting to study in Ireland longer than 3 months need to apply for a long-term student visa. The visa fees for the same are provided below:

Ireland offers two types of visas. These are C visas and D visas. You can apply for a C visa if you want to undertake short-term studies in the country (less than 90 days). You can apply for a D visa (if you want to undertake long-term studies in the country. A C visa would be a general visit visa which is also given out for other purposes like tourism, and visiting family and friends in Ireland. It’s the D visa that is the actual study visa. You can apply for this visa if you want to enrol in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
Ireland also gives out multiple entry visas for those who have previously held single entry visas and have met the requirements. With a multiple-entry passport, you can visit Ireland multiple times.

Ireland Student Visa Requirements
The following are the Ireland student visa documentation requirements: You must present these documents, and pay the Ireland student visa fees for a smooth application process:
- Filled in the visa application form and VFS receipt
- Present identification documents such as a passport
- You must be enrolled in a privately funded course listed on the ILEP. As proof, you must present an offer letter from the University.
- You must also have paid the university fees if the fee amount is below €6,000. If the amount is more than this, then at least €6,000 must be paid in full
- Additionally, you must present proof of finances, and the ability to fund your stay in Ireland
- However, you must have private medical insurance for the duration of the course
- Proof that you have met the English language requirements. For this, you can submit IELTS/TOEFL scores
- You must also provide details of your employment history (if any).
- You must fill out the Financial summary form(FSF),
- and provide details of previous visa refusals (if any)

The Ireland student visa application process is as follows. Note: You can fill out the visa application form completely online. It’s the New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO), part of the Embassy of Ireland in India is mainly responsible for processing visa applications of students from India, Nepal, Bangladesh,
Sri Lanka or the Maldives.
- Fill out the visa application form on AVATS. Print out the form and sign the same
- Indian nationals must fix a visa appointment with the Visa Facilitation Service or VFS
- Next, arrange the necessary documents and submit the same
- Pay the Ireland student visa fees on the day of the visa appointment
- Lastly, wait for the outcome of your visa application.

During the normal college days, a student visa applicant can work full-time for 40 hours per week. International students who have Stamp 2A registration are not allowed to work.
