Q. Some scientists think that computers will soon become more intelligent than humans. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Ans. I agree that computers can become more intelligent than humans as the rapid advancements in computing technology have made machines process and store vast amounts of information much better than the human brain. For example, modern computers can perform complex calculations and analyse data within seconds, which generally takes a human to complete a day or two. Moreover, computers go through continuous upgrades and improvements. These advancements help them to perform increasingly sophisticated functions such as natural language processing and real-time data analysis. For example, supercomputers can detect weather patterns and predict climate changes accurately, surpassing human capabilities. While computers do not possess creativity or emotional understanding, their speed, accuracy, and ability to handle complex information suggest that they can surpass human intelligence in many practical and intellectual areas.
