Q. In addition to saving money, public transportation reduces pollution from private vehicles. Why do you prefer it?
Ans. Public transportation is my preferred mode of transportation, and there are several reasons for this. Firstly, it is a great way to save money. If I were to use my own vehicle, the cost of fuel, maintenance, and parking can accumulate rapidly. However, the fare for public transport is relatively low, and I won’t have to worry about any additional costs.
Secondly, public transportation is much more environmentally friendly than private vehicles. A single bus or train can carry a large number of people at once, which helps reduce pollution per person compared to if everyone were using their own vehicles. This simple yet effective approach aids in reducing carbon footprints and contributes to the fight against climate change. Moreover, public transportation is often more convenient and less stressful than driving. There’s no need to navigate through traffic or hunt for parking spots. Instead, you can use the travel time to relax, enjoy the scenery, read, or even get some extra work done. Lastly, I appreciate the sense of community that comes with using public transportation. It provides an opportunity to connect with people from diverse cultures, an experience I wouldn’t have if I were traveling in my own car.
To conclude, while private vehicles do offer advantages such as comfort and privacy, I firmly believe that the benefits of using public transportation can outweigh these.
