Q. Describe a family member you are closest to. Mention who this person is, what you have done together, and explain why you like this person.
Ans. The family member that I feel closest to is my mother. She is a strong, compassionate and loving woman, who has always been there for me from my lowest moments to the happy ones. We share a bond that is unbreakable and unique. We have done countless things together, but some of my favourite memories are of her patiently teaching me how to cook her signature dishes even though I sometimes used to mess them up. Another one is her teaching me how to write good poetry and all of those moments of laughter and learning are something I cherish deeply.
I admire my mother for her humbleness, patience, kindness and grateful approach towards life. She has always been very supportive, and understanding, guiding me through life’s challenges with wisdom and love. Her resilience in the face of adversity is something I deeply admire and strive to emulate. She is not just my mother, but also my mentor, my confidante and my best friend. Her unconditional love and support have shaped me into the person that I am today. I am grateful for every moment we share and look forward to creating more memories together. In conclusion, my mother is the family member I am closest to because of the strong bond we share, the memories we’ve created together, and the admiration I have for her as a person. She is truly the heart and soul of our family.
