Canada Student Visa Age Limit: An Overview

Canada does not have a minimum or a maximum age limit for student visas. Therefore, you can apply for a visa as long as you are eligible. However, minor applicants (that is, applicants under the age of 18) must fill out a custodian declaration. This declaration ensures that the custodian will provide you with the care and support you need as a minor in Canada.

The custodian declaration must be certified by a notary. It must also be included in the study permit application. For the custodian declaration, a custodian must fill out the first page. Next, the parents and legal guardians are required to fill out the second page. Moreover, when minors reach the age of 18 or 19 only then they can apply for a study permit.
