The full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is a 65-month/5.5-year course available at various colleges in India and abroad. This programme is the study of traditional and Ayurvedic medicine and modern medicine. The course includes 4.5 years of academic sessions and one year of mandatory internship. To pursue this course, students must have passed Class 12 from a certified educational institution.
