The Ramayana was enacted with such skill, and the burning effigy of Ravana symbolized the victory of good over evil. Excitement was increased by the pyrotechnics crackling and the audience’s cheers.  Of course, one of the highlights was the Dussehra fare. Every meal was a celebration, from savoury snacks to handcrafted sweets. With my mom’s skilled supervision, I even attempted to make a few traditional meals, and believe me it was a culinary adventure! What was your Dussehra holiday plan?
