It has been quite some time since we caught up and I thought I’d take this opportunity to share the joyous moments of my Dussehra celebrations.  The Dussehra vacation was an incredible time of celebration, family get-togethers, and much-needed break. It was difficult to miss the lively atmosphere that was created by the bright lights and decorations that covered the entire town. Our family went to the nearby Ramlila celebration on the day of Dussehra, and it was quite the scene. The Ramayana was enacted with such skill, and the burning effigy of Ravana symbolized the victory of good over evil. Excitement was increased by the pyrotechnics crackling and the audience’s cheers.  Of course, one of the highlights was the Dussehra fare. Every meal was a celebration, from savoury snacks to handcrafted sweets. With my mom’s skilled supervision, I even attempted to make a few traditional meals, and believe me it was a culinary adventure! What was your Dussehra holiday plan? It’s been a while since we last met, and I’ve been eager to tell you all about the wonderful time I had during the Dussehra holidays this year. The holidays provided an excellent opportunity for me to relax and spend time with my loved ones. As you are aware, Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil, and the entire atmosphere here is filled with excitement and celebration. The Ramlila play and Ravana’s traditional burning were the highlights of the holiday. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to watch the larger-than-life statues burst into flames with loud noise and fireworks! Along with the festivities, I spent quality time with my family and helped them in preparing for the puja at home. We decorated our homes with flowers and lights. One of the greatest parts was the homemade sweets, such as kheer and laddoos, which I wish I could send to you in this letter! The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately, and the air is so fresh this time of year. I really wish you could have been here to share in the joy and celebrations. Recipient’s Name Recipient’s Address Dear (Recipient’s Name), Introduction Start the letter with a “Dear Friend” and maintain a genuine tone.  Body For the body of the letter, mention the details of the trip, mention the places you visited, express your happiness, etc. Whatever your purpose is for writing the letter, cover it properly.
