Lord Rama’s life story is written in the Ramayana, one of the oldest and most loved Hindu epics. He taught us how to live a good life. He always followed truth and respected his parents, teachers, and elders. Even when he had to go to the forest for 14 years, he obeyed his father without any anger or sadness.

In 2025, Ram Navami will be celebrated on 6th April, which is a Sunday. It is observed on the ninth day of the Chaitra month, which is the first month of the Hindu calendar. This day is also known as Chaitra Shukla Navami. Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya, in the royal palace of King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya, during the time of Treta Yuga.
Lord Rama is also called Maryada Purushottam, which means the perfect man. He always followed the path of truth, dharma, and respect for elders. Even when he was sent to the forest for 14 years, he accepted it with peace and never disobeyed his parents. His life teaches us to be honest, brave, and respectful. His entire journey is beautifully written in the great epic called the Ramayana, which was written by the sage Valmiki.
