Goa is my favourite holiday destination because of its beautiful beaches, delicious seafood, and lively atmosphere. I visited Goa with my family last summer, and it was an unforgettable trip.

Goa is famous for its golden beaches like Baga Beach and Calangute Beach, where we enjoyed playing in the sand and swimming in the sea. We also visited Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The sight of water rushing down from the mountains was breathtaking.

Another exciting part of Goa is its Portuguese heritage. We explored Basilica of Bom Jesus, a historic church built in the 16th century. The markets of Goa, like Anjuna Flea Market, are great places to buy handicrafts, jewellery, and souvenirs.

Essay on My Favourite Holiday Destination (Jaipur) in 300 Words

Among all the places I have visited, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is my favourite holiday destination. It is also known as the Pink City because of its beautiful pink-coloured buildings. Jaipur is rich in history, culture, and heritage, making it a fascinating place to explore.

One of the main attractions in Jaipur is the Amber Fort, which is built on a hill. I enjoyed the elephant ride up to the fort and loved exploring the grand palaces inside. Another historical site is the City Palace, where I saw beautiful royal artefacts and paintings. Jaipur is also home to Hawa Mahal, a palace with 953 windows, which was built for royal ladies to watch street festivals without being seen.

Apart from history, Jaipur offers an amazing shopping experience. I visited Johari Bazaar, which is famous for its jewellery, and Bapu Bazaar, where I bought colourful Rajasthani handicrafts and clothes. The local food in Jaipur is delicious, and I loved eating Dal Baati Churma, Ghewar, and Kachori.

One of the most interesting places I visited was the Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory with giant instruments used for studying astronomy. It was amazing to see how people in the past studied the stars without modern technology.

The best part of Jaipur is its royal charm and vibrant culture. The city is filled with folk music, puppet shows, and traditional dance performances. I also got to see a camel ride, which was a unique experience.

Jaipur is a place where history and modern life blend beautifully. I loved every moment of my trip, and I dream of visiting again to explore more of its wonders.
