VIT Eligibility FAQs

To be part of the VIT, the student must fulfil some of the following eligibility criteria, these include:
– The student should have completed their Class 12 along with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their main subjects. They must also have Biology or Biotechnology as a compulsory subject.
– Candidates should have a minimum of 55 per cent marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology/Biotechnology (PCM or PCB) in 10+2.

Who is eligible for B.Tech in VIT?

To be eligible for the B.Tech program in VIT, the candidate must have passed their 10+2 level examination with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their core subjects. Apart from this, the candidate should have secured 60 per cent of marks in their 10+2 examination from any recognised board of education. 

How many marks are required to study CSE at VIT?

For the candidate to study CSE at VIT, they must score at least 120 marks in the VITEEE exam. The student should also get a suitable rank to get the branch on the main campus.

How can I check my online application status for VIT?

In order to check the online application status, the candidate must follow these steps:

– Then the candidate can navigate to the ‘VITEEE 2023’ application status link.

– Lastly, click on the ‘Submit’ button and the status will be displayed on the screen. 

What is the application fee which students need to pay for VITEEE 2023?

What is the syllabus for VITEEE to get admission to VIT?

In order to get admission to VIT, the candidates will have to clear the VITEEE. Its syllabus includes topics from subjects like Physics (35 Marks), Chemistry (35 Marks), Mathematics (40 Marks), Biology (40 Marks), English (5 Marks) and Aptitude Test (10 Marks). 

How many times can I appear for the VIT?

There is no limit to which a candidate can appear in VITEEE. They can appear n-number of times for the VITEEE exam. Although before taking the exam, the student should ensure that they meet the age requirement – as of July 1, 2023, all candidates must be at least 17 years old.
