The MA Distance Education (MADE) programme is designed for a period of two years. Students get the opportunity to finish this program within a period of five years. 

In order to get admission to this, the student must fill out the application form and if it gets accepted then pay the registration fees and finally the first-semester fee. The registration fee for the arts and humanities program is INR 300.

Eligibility Criteria for MA in Distance Education IGNOU

In order to be eligible for the MA in distance education program, it is very important for the candidate to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Check out the eligibility requirements that the student will have to clear before applying for the same. 

• In order to apply for this program, the student must obtain at least 55 per cent marks in their bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• There is no age limit when getting an admission, so that’s a plus point for all the students. 
• All those students who have completed their PGDDE/DDE will get a lateral entry into 2nd year. 

Admission Process for MA in Distance Education IGNOU 

In order to get admission to the MA in distance education program, the student must note that there are two ways to get into it – online and offline. However, we will be talking about the online mode today.

The student must note that the application form for the MA ODL (Open and Distance Learning) program at IGNOU should be completed by 10 September 2023. The last date for for MA in Distance Education IGNOU is 10 September 2023.

To register themselves, the candidate will have to pay a registration fee of INR 300. Here are all the steps that the student should consider before getting an admission. 

• Visit the official website of IGNOU, i.e. https://www.ignou.ac.in/.
• The student will then have to create an account by entering all the basic information. 
• Once the account has been created, one will have to log in once again by entering their credentials. 
• All sections will have to be completed as mentioned in the dashboard. 
• All personal documents must also be uploaded in the suggested format. (JPG/JPEG/PDF).
• Pay the application fee as well as the first-semester fee as mentioned on the website.
• You will get a pay slip, make sure to download it and keep it for future reference.
