How to Register for IGNOU MA Admissions 2024?๐คทโโ๏ธ
To take admission at the MA IGNOU, you should tighten up your seat belt, as the last date to apply for IGNOU admissions is 15 February 2024. To apply for the same, you can follow the given steps.
- Go to the official website of IGNOU and open the IGNOU Samarth Online Page.
- Open the account and log in to complete the admission form.
- Upload the required documents like marksheets, certificates, photos, etc.
- Pay the required amount using the online mode of transfer.
- Now, click Next, preview the form, and save it for future reference.
- Finally, submit the form and download your confirmation receipt.

The following documents should be originally scanned and uploaded at the portal.
- Age Proof
- Colored passport-size photo
- Signature
- Educational Qualification
- Experience, BPL, or Category Certificate (If applicable)
Note: The Signature and Passport-size photo should be within 100 kb and the rest of the documents should be within the maximum limit of a 200 kb limit maximum.
IGNOU MA Eligibility
To apply for IGNOU admissions, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria points, You can explore all of the points below.
- The eligibility criteria for MA from admissions is a bachelorโs degree from any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- For some courses such as Translation Studies, an adequate knowledge of both Hindi and English is required.
- A candidate is also expected to have a basic knowledge of mathematics covered at the 10+2 level, as some courses require an understanding of mathematical concepts such as algebra.
Note: Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline OR those who have completed PGDDE are eligible for lateral entry to 2nd year of MA (Distance Education)
