Key Highlights About the XAT Exam 2024
Following are the key highlights and changes introduced in the exam.
- The XAT exam application fee is Rs.2100/-
- XAT exam is now a computer-based test from a paper-based test
- XAT Exam is now a single slot and conducted in a single-day test
- There is an increase in the time duration from 3 hours to 3 hours and 10 minutes
- Now test is conducted in the afternoon from earlier morning hours
- The number of total questions is increased to 101 and +1 Analytical Essay Writing Test
XAT 2024 Latest Update
XLRI is going to conduct XAT 2024 on 7 January 2024. XLRI has opened the registration window on July 15, 2023. The last date for registration is Nov 30, 2023. The candidates can download their admit cards from December 20, 2023 onwards. Applicants who will graduate by June 10, 2024, will be eligible to appear for XAT 2024. However, it is always advisable to check the eligibility criteria before applying.

How to Apply For XAT 2024
XAT 2024 Registration dates are open from August to November 2023. You need to follow the under noted process to complete in six simple steps at the XLRI exam official website:
- Registration is done on the official XAT 2024 Exam website i.e xatonline.in
- Verify your Email ID through the message you got from the exam centre
- Try to fill out all the pages of the Application Form online
- Upload all the necessary documents accordingly on all the pages of Application Form 2024
- Pay Application Fee of Rs.2100/- Online
- Submit Application Form Online

Documents Required to Fill XAT 2024 Application Form
Before filling up the application form you must keep all these documents ready by your end.
- Academic Documents: Pdf of Marksheet of Classes 10th, 12th ,Bachelors and Master (If any)
- Scan pdf of copy of category certificate (if any)
- Work experience Certificate (if any)
- Scanned Photograph: Passport photograph of Size 200 x 230-pixel resolution and file size between 20 KB – 50 KB.
- Scanned Signature: Scanned pdf of candidate’s signature in 200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution and file size between 10 KB – 20 KB. (The signature needs to be on white paper with a black ink pen.)
- Payment Mode: Payment can be done using any of these modes such as credit cards, debit cards, internet banking, cash cards, mobile wallets, etc.

XAT 2024 Application Fee
- XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) – Rs. 2100/-
- Interested Candidates in XLRI programs have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each.
- If Candidates from India apply through GMAT they have to pay Rs.2500/-
- Foreign Candidates if applying for different programs through GMAT have to pay Rs. 5000/-

Errors to Avoid While Filling XAT 2024 Application Form
The following points must be considered before Filling XAT Application Form:
- It is advisable to review the entire XAT application form before final submission as there is no scope left for error correction.
- After online payment, the generated E-receipt is to be kept safe by the candidates.
- Images and documents must be uploaded in the set format only.
- The XAT application can be rejected if the photograph or signature is unclear. So, be particular and upload clear pictures.
- You will be allowed to change exam city preference only once before the XAT Registration closes.
