My Dear Rohan, I hope you are enjoying your life. For the past few days, I have been meaning to share my experience of my recent trip to Kashmir. You won’t believe the incredible journey I just had in Kashmir! I know we both love adventure and let me tell you, this trip was packed with it. I along with my family members trekked through breathtaking Kashmir valleys carpeted with wildflowers and went white-water rafting on the gushing Lidder River. Also, we enjoyed the panoramic view of snow-covered mountains in Gulmarg and Sonmarg. At Gulmarg, we experienced the Gandola, which pumped adrenaline through my veins. After that, we visited the Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden to enjoy tulips of different varieties grown amidst the lush green field and marvelous mountains. Thereafter, we enjoyed the Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Also, we stayed at the lake house for an entire day to cherish the beauty of Kashmir. We also spent some time soaking in the local culture. We wandered through bustling markets filled with colorful spices and intricate handicrafts, sipped fragrant Kahwa tea in traditional Kashmiri cafes, and even learned a few basic phrases in the local language. The people we met were so warm and welcoming, their smiles as vibrant as the flowers in the meadows. I can’t wait to share all the photos and stories with you in person. Until then, just know that this trip has left me with memories I will cherish forever. Let’s plan a trip soon!! With love, Radhika |

Dear Ankur, Remember our conversations about exploring diverse cultures? Well, my trip to Kashmir was a cultural immersion like no other! From the moment we stepped foot in Srinagar, we were surrounded by the rich tapestry of Kashmiri life. We started with a visit to the Hazratbal Shrine, a beautiful mosque that seemed to hold centuries of stories within its walls. We learned about the Sufi traditions and the significance of this place for the local people. We also explored the bustling markets, bargaining for pashmina shawls and trying exotic spices. The aroma of freshly baked Kahwah bread filled the air, and the sounds of haggling and friendly chatter created a lively atmosphere. The highlight of our cultural journey was spending time with a local family in a traditional village. They welcomed us into their home, shared stories of their lives, and cooked us a delicious meal of Kashmiri delicacies. It was an experience that transcended language barriers and gave us a glimpse into the true essence of Kashmiri culture. I know you, too, are fascinated by different cultures, and I can’t wait to share all the details and photos with you. Get ready for a virtual trip to Kashmir! Wander Lust, Aarushi |
